I’m a creative technologist with 15 years of experience designing and building products that sit at the edge of technology, creative expression, and mindfulness.
I hold a Master’s in Design & Technology from Parsons School of Design, where I now teach as a visiting professor. My path has taken me through IDEO, where I led multidisciplinary teams building human-centered products across healthcare, mobility, retail, education, and finance for clients like Ford and Northwell Health, and others — and into independent product consulting, shipping production apps for Subaru of America and prototyping the future of interactive music with A Vinyl Bar in Shibuya.
For just as long, I’ve lived as a musician — trained in Iranian classical music, setar, vocals, and composition, performing and recording as an artist across genre-bending sonic terrain, with performances at venues including MoMA PS1. That practice, combined with years of personal somatic and meditation work, led me to found Cosmic Picnic, a sound-healing product that invites people to drop into sound and regulate their nervous systems through active listening. Across my work, I build products that enable creative expression or help people cultivate mindfulness and connection: with themselves and with the world.
