BETTERFEED

BetterFeed is a Chrome extension that softens the visual intensity of the Instagram feed (grayscale, blur) so people can scroll with intention instead of compulsion. Built after stepping back from social media myself and noticing how deliberately these feeds are engineered to hijack attention, it takes a harm-reduction approach rather than an all-or-nothing one, creating breathing room between the interface and the nervous system without requiring anyone to quit outright.
